I have really wanted to make this post for a while now because I wanted to share my collection and some pretty great dupes for the shades I have!! I love all of these lipsticks and the colors in different ways. Some may be used more than others, but I really have nothing bad to say about this brand other than the price. Although the price may be high, the products are very nice and reflect the dollar amount they cost. I will definitely continue to buy more from Kylie Cosmetics in the future because she does make great makeup products! I hope this post was helpful and interesting to read. Not all the dupes are exact, but they are very similar, so they are still close enough!! Let me know if any of you have an Kylie Cosmetics products or have any good dupes for them, I would love to know! Also comment what brand you want me to review or show my products from next! Thanks for reading! BYE!!

P.S. I did not include the Koko Kollection products because the dupes are in a separate post that I will link below!!

What Makeup Do I Keep In My Purse?!?!? (quick little post)

I have never been one to do my makeup on-the-go or in the restroom before class, however I do still keep some products in my bag just in case I need them. I do not have foundation, concealers, or  even powders in my bag because I never seem t have time or even feel like retouching my face makeup. I do keep lipsticks, brow gel, and a few other items to keep me sane!
Image result for what's inside my purse cartoon
image from pinterest.com
Some of the items I carry are non-makeup essentials. For instance, I think it is essential that every woman or even a man, keep a pocket mirror with them on-the-go. Pocket mirrors come in handy quite often and are great ways to fix something without going to the restroom. Tissues are also a necessity for me. I used to always leave my house without them and then realized that it is better to have them than not and regret it. Lastly, I carry a roller-ball perfume along with me because if I am ever in a rush and sadly forgot to put on deodorant or my regular perfume then I can always use the roller-ball one. The roller-ball perfumes are so quick and easy to use. Now let's talk about the makeup!

I carry about three lip products and one eye product in my purse everyday! The eye product I have, like mentioned before, is an eyebrow product. This eyebrow product is a clear brow gel that is great if I am ever in a hurry or forgot to do/set my eyebrows! Wet-N-Wild's brow gel that I have mentioned in previous posts is my favorite and it is so affordable! The three lip products I carry are by far my favorite things in my purse though because they are so comfortable and beautiful on the lips. The first one is just a lip balm by Carmax that helps to moisturize my lips daily and keeps them from getting dry in this hot weather. The next two are by NYX Cosmetics and they are some of the prettiest nude lip colors I have ever owned. One is the intense butter gloss in 'tres leches' and the second is the soft matte lip cream in 'London'. Both are so nice and comfortable to wear and look beautiful with any makeup look or no makeup at all! I highly recommend everyone keep a nude lipstick like these in their bags to  serve as a backup for those off-days!

I wanted to make this post today because I have been having one of these off-days and needed to breakout my makeup bag in my purse! Having these kinds of items on-hand is very helpful whenever I am running late or in a rush! I highly recommend everyone make some sort of emergency makeup/beauty kit to have in their bags, so they can be prepared for whatever the day throws at them! I hope this was a very helpful post and provided you all with some interesting information! If you have any questions feel free to ask and let me know what products you keep in your purses down below! Thanks for reading! BYE!!!

November Favorites!

From now on, at the end of each month I will post about products that have been my favorites and most used products at that time! This will allow me to suggest products to you all and keep you updated to what I have been using. Hopefully these posts will be helpful and give you insight into the things I use and love!

This whole month I have been wearing very minimal makeup because of the holidays, school, and allergies! All of these factors have made me wear less makeup than normal this month. However some of the products I did wear are some of my favorite things ever. These six products have really become staple pieces in my everyday makeup looks throughout fall! Enjoy!!

1. SmashBox Photo Finish Primer Water (3.9 fl oz - $32 or 1 fl oz - $16)

There you have it, my favorite makeup products of November! I hope this was a nice and helpful post! Sorry my last two posts have been pretty short, I have been feeling extremely under the weather, so as soon as I feel better my post will be back  to their normal length and more interesting to read, lol! Please feel free to comment your favorite products or if you would like me to review these products in more detail! Thanks for reading! BYE!!

SUPER CHEAP & SUPER NICE: E.L.F. ILLUMINATING & BLUSH PALETTES

For this post I just wanted to quickly talk about a product that is super cheap and super nice! The two products I am referencing are by the cosmetic brand called Eyes, Lips, & Face, aka ELF. ELF is sold at many drugstores and stores like Walmart and Target. They are known for having very affordable items, that are also pretty good quality. I have tried a lot of their products in the past, however the two products I am mentioning now are even greater than those before them.

The 'Illuminating' palette and 'Light Blush' palette by ELF are truly amazing for a drugstore brand. At only $6 a palette, these are so inexpensive for four shades in each compact. They do have a darker blush palette as well, so they can work for any skin-tone. I really recommend these because for those who want a nice blush or highlight, but don't want to spend more for less, this is a great option! The shades in each can work for a variety of looks and are especially great for makeup on-the-go due to the mirror inside.

I haven't had this long, so I do not want to give an official review now, but so far they are great! I will continue to use them and let you all know at the end of this month my final verdict! This post was just to let all of you know about them and help anyone out who needs a good suggestion! If you would like to know more about this or something else please comment below! Thank you for reading! BYE!!!!

KOKO Kollection Review & Dupes!!!

As some of you may have seen earlier this month, I posted a rant bout the Kylie Cosmetics KOKO Kollection release. You can read that post here: http://kylep101.blogspot.com/2016/11/koko-kollection-rant.html.

Initially I wanted this post to strictly be a review of this set, but since it was very limited in quantity and may never be restocked I decided to focus more on some dupes for the shades. Instead of boasting about a product that no one can buy anymore, I thought I should at least give people who weren't able to purchase it a chance to get similar shades that are available!

OKURRR, KHLO$, GORG, DAMN GINA

Before we get into the dupes, I wanted to tell you a little about the set. The KOKO Kollection by Kylie Cosmetics is a limited edition 4 piece lip set curated by Khloe Kardashian in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. There are 3 matte liquid lipsticks and 1 gloss included in the box. The matte liquid lipsticks contain .11 fl oz of product just like here permanent products, the gloss has the same amount. The cost of this set before shipping is $40, which is a deal because all of the full-size products separately would add up to $66. The shades are 'OKURRR', 'KHLO$', 'GORG', & the gloss is 'DAMN GINA'. Overall the formulas for each seem to be as good as her permanent products, which I have tried and can compare them too. The only shade that needs some work is 'GORG', since the shade is so deep and dark it needs one more layer than the others to get full color coverage. Besides that all the products perform perfectly and are gorgeous on the lips! My personal favorite has to the gloss because of the shimmer and glitter in it! Now that we have gotten an idea for what the set is all about let's get onto the dupes!

1. OKURRR...the first shade I found a dupe for in my collection was of course the stunning berry-toned lippie! When I first saw this color I thought I would never wear it, but once I tried it on my opinion changed. This is definitely the brightest shade in the set, so anyone who wears this will take them and their makeup look to the next level. Really love how beautifully this looks on every skin-tone, as well! A great dupe for this shade is a lipstick I recently bought and showed in my latest haul post! It is the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long-Wear Lipstick in the limited edition shade 'Candy Cane'. This shade is very similar to 'OKURRR', in that, they both are brighter berry-pink shades and they are matte liquid lipsticks, however they are not identical. On me, they are both pretty berry-pinks, but 'Candy Cane' is slightly brighter. In my opinion they both look very beautiful on the lips and could easily be mistaken for the other despite their subtle differences. Seeing as the limited edition Too Faced shade is $21 for .23 fl oz and has a peppermint mocha scent, it is a great shade to have in it's own right. However if you want a dupe for 'OKURRR', 'Candy Cane' is a great option that I have found.

2. KHLO$...this shade was way different than I expected. It is much more nude than light pink and has slight peach tone to it. It is still stunning and beautiful to wear, but very different on me than on others who have worn it. This is the lightest matte shade and is very nicely pared with the gloss. A beautiful shade for any natural to glam makeup look. A great dupe for this shade is another Too Faced favorite of mine. The dupe is the Melted Chocolate Liquified Long-Wear Lipstick in 'Chocolate Milkshake'. This shade is similar to 'KHLO$' in that they are both peachy nudes, however this version of a Too Faced lipstick does not dry matte it is more of a satin finish, like a normal lipstick. Like I stated before this is not an exact dupe, but is a great alternative to the shade is this limited set. This Too Faced dupe contains .40 fl oz for $21 and it smells like chocolate!! Overall 'KHLO$' and 'Chocolate Milkshake' are both stunning shades in their own right, but can easily be duped for one another due to their similarities in color.

CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE

3. GORG...the darkest shade in this set is truly breathtaking! This deep wine, burgundy shade is truly stunning and can look good on anyone! Although it may need more lip-liner or an extra layer to get it to look as good as the others, it is still great. I usually avoid shades like this, but this is such a perfect fall, vampy shade I can't resist! I actually have two dupes for this shade in my collection surprisingly enough! One is a liquid lipstick and the other is a typical lipstick formula. The first is a Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade 'Unicorn Blood'. 'Unicorn Blood' may be a little more red than 'GORG', but it still has the same beautiful vampy effect with the same type of formula! At only $18 for .19 fl oz, this shade is perfect dupe, but not an exact match. The next and last dupe for this shade is by MAC Cosmetics and it is called 'Bowl Me Over'. This dupe may be a typical tube lipstick, but the color is spot on and matches 'GORG' almost perfectly. Besides the formula difference, one could never tell which is which! At $17 for .1 oz of product this retro matte formula lipstick could be a great alternative to the vampiest shade in this set. 'GORG' is definitely a stand out in this collection and these dupes are at the same level!

4. DAMN GINA...last, but certainly not least is probably my favorite product in this set and favorite gloss EVER!!! 'DAMN GINA' is such a shimmery, sparkly gloss with the perfect amount of shine. It is not sticky or uncomfortable at all. Unfortunately I do not own any dupes for this so I have nothing to compare it to :( Instead of providing a dupe, I will just suggest that you either buy a gloss like this from Kylie Cosmetics (same as this one) or from another great brand! Overall love this gloss so I will definitely buy more from her in the future that have shimmer and glitter!

DAMN GINA
image from kylie jenner's snapchat
Overall, this set is very nice & I am so lucky to have been able to buy one before it sold-out again! I really love all the shades in different ways and feel like they are easily duped because there are many similar shades out there! Since it is sold out and may never return, I hope that these dupes help anyone who was looking for something similar or wanted the set all together. Please let me know if you would like to see these swatched side-by-side or in a makeup look, I will happily do that! Also comment if you know of any dupes for these shades that I didn't mention! Thank you so much for reading! BYE!!!

Ipsy Bag Review: November

Here it is, my November 2016 Ipsy Bag Review! I have been so excited to post about this so I thought why not post it earlier than planned as a little treat before the weekend! Enjoy!

This month's bag theme is "Rock Starlet", so we can rock out like a knockout!! I really love this month's bag just as much as October's bag! I think Ipsy is finally listening to their subscribers and stepping up when it comes to bag designs and their contents. I have no complaints about any of the five products I received this month, so that's a plus! As always coupon codes with website links will be listed down below for your convenience! Now before I talk about the products here is a look at the bag and products I received:
November Ipsy Bag 2016
1. Verb...this 'ghost' oil is meant to be used in your hair and is a smoothing, weightless blend. I really enjoy receiving hair oils from Ipsy because they allow my hair to be shiny and soft without any frizzy. I just put some in my hair as I am writing this post and the oil has a slight floral scent which I love! Overall I love this product because it is easy to take when traveling and something I will use daily!
Verb Ghost Oil - .57 fl oz - price for this size unknown
Full Size - 2 fl oz - $14
2. Formula X...first off this nail polish shade is EVERYTHING! I usually dislike getting nail polishes in my bags because I rarely use the shades, but this one will be used for sure! I have tried Formula X before and I really love their products, so that makes this even more exciting. The color is called 'Huntress' and it is a deep emerald green with flecks of gold that reminds me of a beetle. So as you can tell I am very excited about this shade and definitely love that it is in my bag!
Formula X nail polish - .13 fl oz - price for this size unknown
Full Size - .4 oz - $10.50
3. SLMissGlam...in the past, I have received brushes from this brand and I absolutely love them! These brushes are so soft and well-made, so receiving this was no disappointment. This is the 'Angled Eye W20' brush and it is perfect for applying and blending shadows in the crease. I really love the way the bristles are curved to fit the eye socket perfectly. I will definitely be using this brush when I do my daily eye looks!
SLMissGlam brush - full size - cannot be bought separately from set
White Glam Brush Book - 25 brushes - $325
4. Too Faced...this mascara is definitely a great thing to get because I have used it before this, loved it, used it, ran out, and now I don't have to buy a new one for awhile LOL! I really recommend this mascara to all my family and friends because it works so well and makes my lashes looks natural, but glam at the same time. The 'Better Than Sex' mascara is such a great product in and of itself, so it alone makes the bag awesome!
Too Faced mascara - .17 oz - $12
Full Size - .27 oz - $23
5. Ofra...last, but certainly not least, is something that I have been hoping to get for awhile now! It is the Ofra Cosmetics 'Banana Highlighting Powder'. This yellow-toned powder is supposed to be applied under-eyes and anywhere else you want to look more glowy and highlighted. I can't wait to do my makeup tomorrow and use this because the reviews are outstanding, so I hope the product lives up to the hype! Only downfall is that it is not in a compact so I have to find a way to store it, but besides that I love it. Once I saw that this would be in my Ipsy Bag, I knew the bag would be one of the best yet!
Ofra banana powder - .14 oz (full size) - $12
Powder in compact - $15
All in all, this Ipsy Bag has to be one of the best yet, for me! Each product is something I will use and most likely love. I hope that this was interesting for some of you to read and helpful to you! I really enjoy making these Ipsy posts, so please let me know if you love them as well by commenting below! Also comment below if you want me to review any of these products in more detail! Thanks for reading! BYE!!!

Short, but Sweet! (tip of the day)

I thought that by now I would have my November Ipsy Bag Review post up, however, since I have not received my Ipsy Bag in the mail yet, this may be the last post for this week! Sadly this post will be really short, due to the absence of my Ipsy bag! I did not have nay other posts planned, so unless the bag comes before Friday this will be it until Monday. I will have that post up by next Wednesday (hopefully). I thought that for now I would just simply post a tip of the day to keep up with my normal posting schedule.

My tip for the day: try to layout what beauty/makeup products you will be using in the morning the night before! This has saved me so much time looking for products in the morning and it makes it easier for you to get ready quicker if you are running late. Many of you probably do this already, but if you don't, try it! This has made getting ready in the morning less of a rush for me!

Hopefully this post/tip was somewhat helpful, sorry for how short it is! I promise to make it up with an awesome Ipsy Bag post very soon! Comment below what steps you take to save time while getting ready or any suggestions for future posts! Thanks for reading! BYE!!

My 1st Sephora Holiday VIB Sale Haul!

If you have been a shopper at Sephora or any other makeup retailer for awhile, then you may know that during the holiday season there are many sales and perks available for new and longtime shoppers! This year, like many before, Sephora has an annual VIB Rouge and VIB sale for there Beauty Insider rewards program members. I have just recently became a VIB, so this was my first time participating in the annual sale that happens about twice a year. As a VIB, I get many perks and rewards including a 20% off code to use on any purchase between November 11-14th. The VIB Rouge, the highest rewards status, had a 25% off code for their purchase that was active four days prior to the VIB sale. These coupons are highly coveted seeing as Sephora rarely has coupons for "dollars off". These coupons can be used to buy anything from their store, however you can only use it once, however when it expires it is no longer valid so even if you don't really want to buy much still use it or you'll lose it! So now that you know a little bit more about this sale, let me tell you what I got!

Initially, I was planning to make my purchase online because the Sephora near me is smaller than most and has less inventory, so by shopping online I could get more things I want! My sister, however, convinced me to go to Sephora with her the first day of the sale to just browse and get an idea of what I want to get. Once we arrived I was shocked at how much they did have in such a small Sephora. They had many of the limited edition holiday sets and new items in-store, which is why I finally decided to make my purchase there. I actually purchased less than I expected I would, but I do love each of the 4 products I got!

1. Benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara (Brown - love the way it looks with my hazel eyes)
 .3 oz - $24
image from sephora.com
2. Too Faced - Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick (Queen B - matte soft mauve)
.4 oz - $21

3. Too Faced - Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick (Candy Cane - peppermint mocha scent)
.4 oz - $21
LIMITED EDITION
image from sephora.com
4. Smashbox - Light It Up Primer Set (pink box plastic box included - great for jewelry or makeup storage)
2 X 1 oz - $36
LIMITED EDITION

There you have it, my first ever Sephora Holiday VIB Sale Haul! So far I have no complaints about any of the products, they all perform amazingly and do what I expected! I had so much fun shopping with my sister that day and this haul reflects that! I hope this post was interesting and informed you on how joining the Sephora Rewards Program benefits you and gives you an idea of things to buy if you are already involved! I was so happy to share this with you all as my first VIB Sale Haul, so I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know in the comments below if you are a member of Sephora's Program or not and what you would have bought during the sale! Also let me know if you want a more in-depth review of any of the products mentioned because I will happily do that for you all! Thanks for reading! BYE!!!

BTW: If you are a VIB the last day to use your 20% off coupon code is today!!! Make sure to redeem it before midnight!!!

(MY NEXT POST WILL BE ON MY NOVEMBER IPSY BAG AS SOON AS I GET IT)
