This will be a brief, unplanned, and salty post because of how annoyed I am at this moment over something so silly, makeup. At the moment this should be the least of my worries, but it has really killed my happy, hump-day mood.

As some of you may know Kylie Jenner has successfully ran her own makeup brand for almost a year now and has made some pretty amazing products, some of which I have purchased and love! So when she announced her collaborate with her sister Khloe Kardashian I was beyond excited because I love Khloe and think collaborations always turn out great! Once the pictures of the four piece lip kit surfaced I was sold! For $40 you can get three beautiful liquid lipsticks and one stunning gloss! All the contents are full-sized products, these items would all individually retail for upwards of $60, so it is definitely a deal and worth the price. Wait, it gets better! Kylie also has updated her shipping so you can now get FREE U.S. SHIPPING with purchases of $40 or more, other countries get free shipping when they spend $60 or more! So not only was this set a deal, but it also allowed you to avoid the Kylie Cosmetics shipping costs of more than $8 per order!
Now you may be wondering, why is Bailey so mad? This sounds AMAZING! Well the reason I am upset is because today 30 minutes before 3 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, I waited by my phone and computer refreshing the webpage until the time finally came for the set to launch. I put one in each cart on each device. i then was prompted to a page that acts as a "waiting line" for purchasers. Since I ha put in the times right at 3 p.m., I thought it would be a no-brainer that I would be able to check out and purchase the set, but NO! I waited for over 20 minutes just to be told it sold out in 5 minutes!!!!!
First let me say that I am not mad at the anyone, I am just disappointed and I feel let down. I must have been naive to assume that Kylie would learn from pasts sales and launches that she should order more stock so everyone has an equal opportunity to buy her amazing new products. I know I am not alone in feeling this way, so I hope the brand and Kylie take the time to fix this reoccurring issue and postpone future launches until they feel they have enough inventory to put on their site. I know that a restock is probably on its way so maybe this post is a little dramatic, but honestly I feel like this has happened very frequently in the last year with several other brands and I think that it needs to change. Makeup Brands need to only launch products when they have enough to sell to their followers/fans. Hyping up a product weeks/months before a launch, then to let it sell out in minutes because you did not have enough is not a good way to keep your costumers happy.
All in all, I think all brands market fabulously and have us lusting after each new launch, but the sell-outs in seconds/minutes need to end. This post is to help inform my fellow consumers and the brands of this reoccurring and disappointing issue. I probably will purchase this item if it does become restocked, so I will update you guys and do a review on it if that does occur. I hope this was helpful or informative in anyway.
