Short, but Sweet! (tip of the day)

I thought that by now I would have my November Ipsy Bag Review post up, however, since I have not received my Ipsy Bag in the mail yet, this may be the last post for this week! Sadly this post will be really short, due to the absence of my Ipsy bag! I did not have nay other posts planned, so unless the bag comes before Friday this will be it until Monday. I will have that post up by next Wednesday (hopefully). I thought that for now I would just simply post a tip of the day to keep up with my normal posting schedule.

My tip for the day: try to layout what beauty/makeup products you will be using in the morning the night before! This has saved me so much time looking for products in the morning and it makes it easier for you to get ready quicker if you are running late. Many of you probably do this already, but if you don't, try it! This has made getting ready in the morning less of a rush for me!

Hopefully this post/tip was somewhat helpful, sorry for how short it is! I promise to make it up with an awesome Ipsy Bag post very soon! Comment below what steps you take to save time while getting ready or any suggestions for future posts! Thanks for reading! BYE!!

My 1st Sephora Holiday VIB Sale Haul!

If you have been a shopper at Sephora or any other makeup retailer for awhile, then you may know that during the holiday season there are many sales and perks available for new and longtime shoppers! This year, like many before, Sephora has an annual VIB Rouge and VIB sale for there Beauty Insider rewards program members. I have just recently became a VIB, so this was my first time participating in the annual sale that happens about twice a year. As a VIB, I get many perks and rewards including a 20% off code to use on any purchase between November 11-14th. The VIB Rouge, the highest rewards status, had a 25% off code for their purchase that was active four days prior to the VIB sale. These coupons are highly coveted seeing as Sephora rarely has coupons for "dollars off". These coupons can be used to buy anything from their store, however you can only use it once, however when it expires it is no longer valid so even if you don't really want to buy much still use it or you'll lose it! So now that you know a little bit more about this sale, let me tell you what I got!

Initially, I was planning to make my purchase online because the Sephora near me is smaller than most and has less inventory, so by shopping online I could get more things I want! My sister, however, convinced me to go to Sephora with her the first day of the sale to just browse and get an idea of what I want to get. Once we arrived I was shocked at how much they did have in such a small Sephora. They had many of the limited edition holiday sets and new items in-store, which is why I finally decided to make my purchase there. I actually purchased less than I expected I would, but I do love each of the 4 products I got!

1. Benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara (Brown - love the way it looks with my hazel eyes)
 .3 oz - $24

2. Too Faced - Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick (Queen B - matte soft mauve)

4. Smashbox - Light It Up Primer Set (pink box plastic box included - great for jewelry or makeup storage)

There you have it, my first ever Sephora Holiday VIB Sale Haul! So far I have no complaints about any of the products, they all perform amazingly and do what I expected! I had so much fun shopping with my sister that day and this haul reflects that! I hope this post was interesting and informed you on how joining the Sephora Rewards Program benefits you and gives you an idea of things to buy if you are already involved! I was so happy to share this with you all as my first VIB Sale Haul, so I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know in the comments below if you are a member of Sephora's Program or not and what you would have bought during the sale! Also let me know if you want a more in-depth review of any of the products mentioned because I will happily do that for you all! Thanks for reading! BYE!!!

BTW: If you are a VIB the last day to use your 20% off coupon code is today!!! Make sure to redeem it before midnight!!!

(MY NEXT POST WILL BE ON MY NOVEMBER IPSY BAG AS SOON AS I GET IT)

KOKO KOLLECTION RANT!!!

This will be a brief, unplanned, and salty post because of how annoyed I am at this moment over something so silly, makeup. At the moment this should be  the least of my worries, but it has really killed my happy, hump-day mood.
*Contains: 3 Matte Liquid Lipsticks (0.11 fl oz./oz. liq / 3.25 ml each) and 1 Gloss (0.11 fl oz./oz. liq / 3.75 ml)*

As some of you may know Kylie Jenner has successfully ran her own makeup brand for almost a year now and has made some pretty amazing products, some of which I have purchased and love! So when she announced her collaborate with her sister Khloe Kardashian I was beyond excited because I love Khloe and think collaborations always turn out great! Once the pictures of the four piece lip kit surfaced I was sold! For $40 you can get three beautiful liquid lipsticks and one stunning gloss! All the contents are full-sized products, these items would all individually retail for upwards of $60, so it is definitely a deal and worth the price. Wait, it gets better! Kylie also has updated her shipping so you can now get FREE U.S. SHIPPING with purchases of $40 or more, other countries get free shipping when they spend $60 or more! So not only was this set a deal, but it also allowed you to avoid the Kylie Cosmetics shipping costs of more than $8 per order!

Now you may be wondering, why is Bailey so mad? This sounds AMAZING! Well the reason I am upset is because today 30 minutes before 3 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, I waited by my phone and computer refreshing the webpage until the time finally came for the set to launch. I put one in each cart on each device. i then was prompted to a page that acts as a "waiting line" for purchasers. Since I ha put in the times right at 3 p.m., I thought it would be a no-brainer that I would be able to check out and purchase the set, but NO! I waited for over 20 minutes just to be told it sold out in 5 minutes!!!!!

First let me say that I am not mad at the anyone, I am just disappointed and I feel let down. I must have been naive to assume that Kylie would learn from pasts sales and launches that she should order more stock so everyone has an equal opportunity to buy her amazing new products. I know I am not alone in feeling this way, so I hope the brand and Kylie take the time to fix this reoccurring issue and postpone future launches until they feel they have enough inventory to put on their site. I know that a restock is probably on its way so maybe this post is a little dramatic, but honestly I feel like this has happened very frequently in the last year with several other brands and I think that it needs to change. Makeup Brands need to only launch products when they have enough to sell to their followers/fans. Hyping up a product weeks/months before a launch, then to let it sell out in minutes because you did not have enough is not a good way to keep your costumers happy.

All in all, I think all brands market fabulously and have us lusting after each new launch, but the sell-outs in seconds/minutes need to end. This post is to help inform my fellow consumers and the brands of this reoccurring and disappointing issue. I probably will purchase this item if it does become restocked, so I will update you guys and do a review on it if that does occur. I hope this was helpful or informative in anyway. If you have any questions/comments or have experienced something similar please comment below to let me know your thoughts! As always thank you for reading! BYE!!!!

I clean my makeup brushes with...

Makeup brushes can get extremely dirty very quickly, so it is important to clean them every so often to keep your skin safe and the makeup you use sanitary. I usually clean mine once or twice a month, but it is up to personal preference how often you do this. I only use each brush for one specific thing or area so I rarely fell the need to clean them, which to those who clean them even more often may seem gross, but to me it has worked out fine.

There are two products that I have personally loved to use when cleaning my makeup brushes. One of the products is a typical liquid brush cleaner and the other is a brush cleansing balm. In this post I will tell you my experience using both products and which one I like the most! Hopefully this will inform some of you of some different options for makeup brush cleaners and ways to do it!

The first product I have used to clean my brushes is the Ulta Beauty Makeup Brush & Sponge Cleaner. This makeup brush cleaner does clean the brushes thoroughly and easily. The way I use this products is by spritzing some of the product on a dampened brush and then swirling the brush on my palm and running my fingers through the bristles to effectively get the excess makeup off of the brush. The only thing I dislike about this product is that a little does not go a long way and that I can't use it to clean my sponges because it doesn't work as well with sponges. When I owned this product I did use all of it because it worked, but the amount of product you get does not last because you need a lot to get the brush super clean. Baby shampoo is a dupe for this in my opinion, but I would suggest this because it is specifically designed to clean the brushes unlike baby shampoo. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who does not have a lot of brushes or who doesn't clean them very often because even though it works well you need lots of product to get the best results. Rate: 7/10

The second brush cleaning product that I have loved and used is the Benjabelle Brush Cleansing Balm. This cleansing balm is unlike anything I have tried before to clean my brushes and sponges (clean both the same way)! At first I was skeptical of this product because I did not see how a product like this could clean brushes effectively, but after I tried it out for the first time I realized how amazing it is! I typically clean smaller eye brush with this because, for me, those are the brushes that get dirtiest and are harder to clean by hand. To us this, you just simply wet the brush and then rub/swirl it on the balm. After you have started to clean it on the balm and you see the makeup start to come off, rinse it and it should be fine! This product is so easy to use and makes cleaning brushes so mush simpler and kind of fun! This product also lasts much longer than other things I have tried, I don't know if that is because of its balm form or because I don't have to try as hard or use as much! Whatever the reason, it works fantastic! I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to clean their brushes super quick and easy! This would work well for any brush and even sponges! Overall a great brush cleansing product! Rate: 10/10

All in all, these two products are the best I have tried when it comes to makeup brush cleaning products! I recommend both and if any of you have any questions about these or suggestions for other ones that you like, please leave a comment down below! I hope this was helpful and informative! Eyebrows on Fleek?

I would say that in the past year or so the world has become obsessed with eyebrows!! Now don't get me wrong, I love this trend and how a simple extra step in your makeup routine can change your whole eye look, but is has shocked that this trend is till around. I do think that the brow trend will be around forever now due to its worldwide success in slaying every makeup look around. I know makeup is a form of body art and eyebrows are definitely, now, a key factor of the final masterpiece.

In this post I will discuss how I do my full, bushy brows and what products I use to tame and frame them. I have never been the best at making them look sharp and clean, like the photo below, because I have always loved the more natural and feathered look on me. I think there are no rules to brows just like with makeup, so do them how like or don't do them at all because there yours and no one else should care! So whether you do your brows regularly, occasionally, or not all that's okay! I switch between all three, LOL!

To be honest I change the way I want to do my brows daily. One day they will be filled in and the next they won't. When I do fill them in however, I only use 2 products to get the look I want. I first grab my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer pencil to first comb my brow hairs upward and then I proceed to fill in the spots that I feel are sparse or need more definition. Personally, I change the way I want my brows daily so, it just depends on what look I am going for or my mood. I love the Anastasia Brow Definer pencil because it comes in so many different shades and it gives a very precise application compared to to other products I have tried. So if you have thin brows or bushy brows like me, I definitely recommend this product to help you achieve the brow look you seek!

The second and final brow product I use was actually mentioned in one of my more recent blog posts and that is the Wet N Wild Mega-Clear Brow Mascara! This product is perfect for everyday and for all brow looks. This clear gel helps to set brows in place so they look good all day. I not only love the affordability of this product, I also love how nice it is compared to other brow gels that I have tried! I recommend this to all people whether you wear makeup or not because it is such a simple and easy product to tame your brows everyday.

All in all, the brow trend is amazing and taking off like no other trend has before, but if you are like me and you prefer to have simple brows than I recommend the products above and to just do what you like and you feel looks great! Life's too short to care what others think, so have fun and experiment with your brows and makeup in general! Hopefully this post was interesting and helpful to some and inspired some of you to change up your brow game! Thanks for reading, BYE!!!!

Morphe X KathleenLights Palette Review!

*THIS PALETTE WILL BE RESTOCKED ONCE MORE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, WILL ANNOUNCE DATE ON HERE WHEN IT IS CONFIRMED!!!*
I could not be more excited to tell you all about this amazing palette today, but it is even more exciting because my favorite you-tuber, KathleenLights, curated it! I have been a big fan of Kathleen for about 2 years now, so when I heard she was coming out with a palette I knew I needed to have it!

The palette is, as of now, out of stock :( I will put a link to it here because it may come back in stock very soon so I will try to update this post when it does become re-available, if the brand decides to restock it! If it does become available again make sure to use the code "KATHLEENLIGHTS" to get 10% off your order! :)
https://www.morphebrushes.com/products/kathleen-lights
Also be sure to watch the video of Kathleen below where she swatches each shade and subscribe because she is AMAZING! Make sure to watch her tutorial using the palette as well!
https://youtu.be/7qQCVFkZ6pU

Anyway, lets get onto my review! First off, this palette screams Kathleen! If you have watched any of Kathleen's tutorials before then you know how much she loves the warm toned shadows, so these colors are perfect as they reflect her personality and makeup style!

The packaging is typical Morphe brand packaging a cardboard palette with no mirror, which does not bother me, but may bother some. There are 15 shades in the palette with a mix of various matte and shimmer colors. Since I have tried other eye-shadows by Morphe before I can definitely say that these are very nice and bendable shades. For only $14.99 this palette is basically a steal!! Most palettes nowadays come with less shades for a higher price point, so this is a palette where you will definitely get your money's worth of product. The only downfall about buying this palette is that Morphe as a brand has high shipping prices, so I had to pay and extra ten for it to be shipped to me. In all honesty, the shipping price may bother others, but to me it was worth it because the product is amazing and I love to support any of Kathleen's collaborations. So all in all I think this palette is definitely a great buy and such an amazing array of shades. I can create multiple looks with this one palette due to the variation of colors throughout! If any of you want to see me do a makeup look with this palette please comment down below and i will for sure do that for you all! Also comment if you want to get this when it restocks and who your favorite you-tuber is! Hope this short, but sweet review was helpful! Thank you for reading! Bye!!

What makeup do I take when I travel????

Whether your going on a weekend getaway or just to a sleepover, all of us have those things that are essential to take along with us! For me, I have 5 products that I take with me any time I know I will not be coming home the next day.

The 5 products that I am going to mention are my ride or die face products that I need to have anytime I travel! (all of the products mentioned below are ones that I have personally used and recommend)

1. Concealer...when I am traveling I tend to forgo bringing along any of my foundations or BB creams because of how much of a hassle they can be to apply sometimes, so I always bring a concealer! A concealer is like a multi-use product, so I love having it on hand at all times. I typically just conceal any blemishes and dark spots, but I can also use this to highlight areas if I want. Concealer is probably the best and only face product I need when I leave my house usually, but sometimes I get out of hand and want to take my whole collection! However, if it were to come down to me being able to only take one thing, it would probably be concealer. I just love the look of concealer on my skin and the effect it gives. Definitely my #1 travel must-have.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - .22 oz - $25
2. Bronzer...after concealing I always feel the need to put some color back into my face, it just makes my skin look more healthy and alive! Bronzer has always been a favorite of mine, the way it looks on the skin is incredible. Whenever I am traveling I can rely on bronzer to give my simple makeup look a sun-kissed glow! Instead of taking a blush, highlight, and bronzer when you travel, skip the others and just take a bronzer because the simplicity and easy application makes for an effortless makeup look! I usually bronze my cheeks, jawline, and temples to add more definition to my face. I could go on and on about how much I love bronzer because of how multi-functional it is, like concealer! You can use bronzer to bronze, contour, and as eye-shadow!! Yes, if you do not want to haul around an extra product just pop some bronzer on your eyelids for the ultimate bronze goddess effect when traveling! Next to concealer, bronzer is definitely a must-have travel product of mine!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer - .38 oz - $12
3. Mascara...it goes without saying that if you love makeup than you love mascara! Mascara can turn the most simple and easy of looks into one of pure glam. Mascara makes my eyes pop on the laziest of makeup days, so that is why I need it when I travel. Without mascara my eyes and entire face would look dull. While traveling I love to have a fresh-faced, awake look and mascara, for me, is one of the many ways I achieve that look! Mascara can pull any look together and makes for a great product to travel with, that is why I take it with me while I travel!
Image result for maybelline mascara
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - .32 oz - $7
4. Brow Gel...now many of you may fill in your brows and set them, but some of you probably do neither and just leave them natural, well I kind of switch between both! Most days I will just set my brows with a gel so they stay nice and clean looking, but some days I will fill them in to make them look a little bit fuller. However, when I travel I opt for just the brow gel to give my brows a clean and natural look. Whether it is clear or tinted, brow gel can be an amazing addition to your travel makeup bag. Makeup on vacation tends to be minimal, but with the popularity of filling in our brows many of us do not want to skip out on this crucial step. Brow gel, however, can let you achieve the look you want while allowing you to quickly and easily do it. Brow gel is just another product that I love to have in my travel makeup bag!

Wet N Wild - .20 oz - $2
5. Tinted Lip Balm...instead of bringing a bunch of lipsticks on vacay, why not bring a tinted lip balm? Like I said before, when I am on vacation I love to do simple and easy looks, so that is exactly why I forgo hauling a ton of different lipsticks with me instead I opt for a lip balm with a sheer tint. These lip balms not only look natural, but they also give a nice moisturizing feel. Like all of the other products above, tinted lip balm is such a nice product to achieve that fresh and easy makeup look, that is why I always have on while I am away from home!

SO there you have it, my top 5 travel makeup products that help me achieve a simple and natural makeup look while on the go! I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions feel free to comment down below! Also let me know your must-have travel products because I would love to know! Be sure to follow and thanks for reading! Bye!
