My Ride or Die Liquid Lipstick is...

As a lover and consumer of makeup, I have to share with all of you my all time favorite liquid lipstick. If you're thinking that it's the Kylie Jenner lip-kits then you obviously know me pretty well, bu sadly those do not take the #1 place in my heart! Although Kylie's lip-kits do come in at a close second, my all-time favorite liquid lipstick formula and brand has to be the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks!

For more reasons than one, Jeffree's liquid lips are products that I can't stop purchasing and wearing! Price, formula, color selection; the list goes on and on! If I were to throw away all my lipsticks and only keep one it'd be one of the nude shades by Jeffree Star. These lipsticks exceed all of my expectations every time I wear them; they are like a gift that keeps on giving!

At only $18 a piece these lipsticks retail for less than others of it's kind on the market. They surpass the others of it's kind however, through formula and wear-time. Typically I feel the need to apply a lip-liner before I apply a liquid lipstick, but I don't with these! The pigment in one swipe of these lipsticks is insane and they dry down to a comfortable matte finish! These also last all-day and when I say all-day I mean it! Kylie's lip-kits and many others do as well, but whats different about these is that they stay the exact way, as when you first applied them, throughout the whole day. Other liquid lips tend to get uncomfortably dry and flaky after 5-7 hours, while these do not.  I have never worn a lipstick so long-lasting and yet so comfortable! Sometimes I forget I am even wearing it until I look in a mirror! Another amazing thing about these products is that they are vegan and cruelty-free, which a lot of brands can't say. I admire this brand for that and I think it makes them and their products much more appealing! Some of the liquid lips smell like root-beer and the latest summer shades smelled like watermelon jolly-ranchers! Lastly, these are best applied with the wand for most, however for those with smaller lips a lip brush may be the best route to go if you want a more precise application.Now that I have given you my thoughts and some information about the product, here are all of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick shades that I own and my thoughts on each, in no particular order:

1. "I'm Nude"

This shade is the prettiest light-peachy nude for everyday wear, this shade goes with any makeup look!

2. "Mannequin"

Such an amazing warm-toned nude that will look beautiful on anyone! One of my favs!

3. "Celebrity Skin"

A little darker than the last, but still beautiful in it's own right! Perfect for everyday just like the rest of the nude shades!

4. "Rose Matter"

One of the most beautiful rosy-pink shades that I have ever worn! If you love pink this is a must have!

5. "Posh Spice"

More of a grey-toned nude, but can be worn day or night! Perfect for those who love a bolder nude!

6. "Androgyny"

One of the brand's most popular shades, due to the fact, that this dusty rose mauve looks good on literally everyone!

7. "Masochist"

Such a beautiful berry shade with a blue undertone that makes our teeth look whiter and brighter! 

8. "Flamethrower"

One of the brand's newest shades, that is absolutely breathtaking! Bright, neon orange!

9. "Redrum"

The red most us have been waiting for our whole lives! True blood red with blue undertone!

10. "Unicorn Blood"

Dark, sultry burgundy for fall of those who love this look on a daily bases! Truly stunning!

11. "714"

A light baby pink that is slightly neon! Love the shade, but it tends to be streaky and thin unless built up!

12. "Watermelon Soda"

One of my favs! The perfect bright red/pink shade! Makes my hazel eyes pop!

13. "Nude Beach"

Pretty bright, bold nude! Definitely leans toward a orange, mac&cheese color!

14. "Virginity"

Gorgeous light lilac shade! Beautiful and one of the best, in my opinion, formula wise!

So there you have it, my collection of Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks and yes he does have many more! I definitely recommend any of you who haven't tried them that you do so because I highly doubt you'll regret it! Such a beautiful range of shades with a fairly consistent formula that is, in my opinion, the best on the market!
